Bond Street
Re-visited.
We often
talk about the New Chocolates, that we are pleased to introduce to you, in an
ever expanding range of luxury chocolates, from some of the World’s finest and
most revered chocolatiers.
But, with
their ever-popular range of exquisite chocolate truffles, we thought we’d take
a little trip down Memory Lane, and highlight just a few of Charbonnel et
Walkers most popular chocolate gift ideas, that are particularly in demand for
Valentine’s Day gifts.
Decadently
rich and as with all ‘Charbonnel’s chocolate truffles, beautifully packaged, in
their signature round gift boxes, one of the most popular is their Pink Marc de
Champagne chocolate truffles. A milk chocolate ganache centre, infused Champagne,
encased in a delicate strawberry flavoured chocolate shell, and dusted with icing
sugar.
Available
in a single layer box (135g) and double layer box of 275g.
Featuring
the same Pink Marc de Champagne truffles, ‘Charbonnel also produce a beautiful
200g heart shaped gift box; very popular for Valentine’s and Mother’s Day
gifts, and their smaller token chocolate gift heart, which contains 3 of these irresistible
luxury chocolates.
Quintessentially
English, Charbonnel et Walker’s English Rose & Violet Creams. Dark chocolate
shells filled with delicately infused fondant creams of rose & violet,
topped with crystalised flower petals. A firm favourite and one of the few
chocolatiers to still make this very traditional chocolate selection.
New editions
to their range of chocolate gifts, include Milk Chocolate & Hazelnut
(topped with edible gold leaf), Raspberry & Amaretto, Strawberries &
Cream and Pistachio white chocolate truffles.
In addition
to their range of Salted Caramel truffles, with their liquid caramel centers,
Charbonnel et Walker also introduced us to the wonderful taste combination of
Caramel and Pink Himalayan Salted truffles in a dusted, pink chocolate shell. Lovers
of the popular combination of sea-salt and caramel will particularly enjoy this
new truffle.
More
recently, Charbonnel et Walker have forged links with Sipsmith Gin – the first
new copper distillery to open its doors in London since 1820 and founder of
Island Records, Chris Blackwell’s Jamaican Rum, to add an exotic punch to their
dark chocolate truffles.
Charbonnel
et Walker still carry the Royal Warrant as chocolate manufacturers, and their
range was a favourite of the our dear late monarch, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth.
