Another New Single Plantation Chocolate Bar…
Single Plantation cocoa doesn’t have to be reserved for dark
chocolate bars. It’s also quite at home in luxury high-cocoa content, milk
chocolate bars too.
Like this new milk chocolate bar from Michel Cluizel of
France. Their latest single plantation bar is this deliciously smooth, La
Laguna, 47% cocoa content, milk chocolate bar.
Created from cocoa grown on the Guatemalan cocoa plantation
of La Laguna (hence its name), this superb milk chocolate bar has been crafted
to hold the outstanding flavour profile of the La Laguna cocoa, and provides an
abundance of flavour and aromas which, contain notes of cappuccino, hazelnuts,
toasted bread and butterscotch.
Acknowledged as the birthplace of one of America’s oldest
civilisations, the Mayan’s worshipped cocoa, (and quite rightly so). Today, cocoa
is grown on the La Laguna plantation using the same natural farming methods,
which respect the terroir and preserve the traditions of those Mayan ancestors.
This newest Single Plantation, milk chocolate bar from
Michel Cluizel, has a higher than normal cocoa content of 47% which means you
enjoy more of the cocoa flavour and less sweetness from the reduced sugar
content.
Michel Cluizel are true Cacaofevier (bean to bar chocolate
makers), employing their considerable knowledge and skill, producing the finest
craft chocolates, with cocoa’s sourced from a variety of single plantations,
single estates and single origins.
Their La Laguna milk chocolate bar joins its dark chocolate
bar counterpart also called La Laguna, with a 70% cocoa content, as reviewed in
our Chocolate Magazine (click here to read more). Both chocolate bars are soya
lecithin free, alcohol free and suitable for vegetarians.
These bars make an exciting chocolate gift for the chocolate aficionado
in your family. Why not treat them to either of these two new La Laguna
chocolate bars today?
