Why do we celebrate World Chocolate Day? When many other
chocolate related celebration days also exist e.g National Chocolate Day (USA),
many look towards World Chocolate Day as marking the introduction of chocolate
to Europe (in 1550).
Whilst many would argue that you don’t need a particular day
to enjoy chocolate, these special days in the chocolate calendar, can be an
opportunity to try a new chocolate bar or selection, perhaps a single origin
from a cocoa growing region you haven’t tried before?
And don’t forget you can also celebrate by
trying a new chocolate recipe, taking advantage of our extensive range of
couvertures (cooking chocolates) and chocolate decorations, from around the World.
