Royal Mail Industrial Action disruption to our order dispatches

Royal Mail Strike action on 26th, 31st August & 8th, 9th September 2022. There will be no Royal Mail collections or deliveries on these days!

Due to planned Industrial Action by Royal Mail, the following delivery options, available at checkout, may experience delays in the Royal Mail network on & around the 26th & 31st August and 8th & 9th September 2022:

Next Day (Special Guaranteed): Next Day service will take priority but is not guaranteed. 1pm time promise also suspended. (See Royal Mail update below).

Standard (Tracked 48): Typically 2-4 working days may incur extra days delay.

Super-Saver: Typically 3-5 working days may incur extra days delay.

First Class: Typically 1-3 working days may incur extra days delay.

Royal Mail have informed us that they have contingency plans in place to minimalize disruption to delivery services, but customers should expect "significant disruption" to all delivery services.

Delivery Offices and Customer Service Points will also be closed on days when strike action is taking place, so please do not try to collect or drop-off items on these dates.

Please accept our sincere apologies on behalf of Royal Mail for any inconvenience caused by delays to our order deliveries.

DPD courier delivery services are unaffected, and where applicable, will also be offered to customers at checkout.

Royal Mail Update - 24/08/2022: "We cannot however guarantee delivery by 1pm next day for items sent during periods of industrial action. We are therefore suspending the delivery guarantee for items posted from Thursday 25 August, up to and including items sent on Thursday 1 September or for items sent between Wednesday 7 September up to and including items posted on Saturday 10 September. Customers will not be able to claim for items posted on these dates and which are not delivered on time."
