Michel Cluizel has just announced that their popular Los Ancones, single estate dark chocolate bar is now to be certified organic.

This newly certified bar will be available to buy through Chocolate Trading Company as soon as it is released in September. This move will be most welcomed by loyal followers of Michel Cluizel and will also open Michel Cluizel chocolate up to new customers seeking high quality, organic chocolate. The two have not necessarily gone together in the past.

Michel Cluizel is also refining their product range and replacing some of their 100g bars with new 70g weights, for which the Los Ancones, as with all their single estate chocolate bars, will become.

The Los Ancones, single estate, 67% cocoa dark chocolate bar is created with Trinitario cocoa beans from the plantation of the same name on the island of Santo Domingo in the Caribbean. This unique dark chocolate holds a deliciously complex assortment of fresh fruit flavours including apricot, peach and even green olive.
