Chuao chocolate by Pralus
The world famous Chuao plantation in Venezuela is where this particularly special Criollo cocoa is grown and now used by Pralus in this single estate chocolate.
Until recently the Chuao cocoa was only available to Amedei as production is very small.
- A exceptionally fruity and balanced dark chocolate bar with slight bitterness matched with an acidulous edge. Long lasting and equally as impressive as Amedei's version. Pralus tends to have a higher roast flavour as with all their chocolate.
Pralus, situated in Roanne, France, are one of the few chocolate houses creating chocolate direct from the cocoa bean. Owner, François Pralus, produces chocolate of exceptional quality, achieving accolades from The Grand Prix d’Excellence International du Chocolat and the Grand Prix du Festival International du Chocolat.
Really amazingly good! Melting like milk chocolate and brilliant mouthfeel, smooth, luxurious, creamy chocolate flavours, with gentle fruit notes and lovely roast. So finely balanced, it's just perfect! Much than the Amedei Chuao, I think.
