The way we package our online chocolate orders gets a lot of attention, especially in Trust Pilot reviews, left by our customers , just like the one above.

And it's no wonder when you look at the lengths we go to, to ensure our chocolate gift order deliveries are as green as possible.

Sometimes, we are accused of being a little over protective with the amount of packaging we use, but we honestly believe we've perfected the right balance to make sure your chocolate arrives in the best possible condition, whilst using the most environmentally friendly materials.

We pack extremely well to not only cushion your online chocolate order against any possible bumps in the post, but also to protect your chocolate bars, selection boxes, chocolate hampers and even our cooking chocolates, from extremes of temperature.

We use only 100% biodegradable eco-filler (white 'wotsit' shapes), which are cleverly derived from maize starch (so they're even safe for those with wheat allergies, to handle), to protect your order.

This eco-friendly packing material can be safely disposed of in your own food waste / green bin or compost heap. It quickly dissolves to nothing when it gets wet.

All of our outer delivery boxes are made from recycled cardboard, and if we do use any other packing materials like bubble-wrap, then this is recycled from our own chocolate deliveries.

We know that you, our customers, appreciate such efforts, to be as environmentally responsible as possible, and just wanted to let you know that there's more, or less, to our packaging than you may first realise.
