DPD delivery couriers team up with what3words

DPD Couriers have just announced that from Friday 25th February 2022, customers will be able to add their what3words address to their Delivery Preferences in the DPD app.

You might have seen recent television adverts for the what3words service, which is revolutionising location services.

What3words have divided the World into 3mtr x 3mtr squares, and given each square a unique combination of three words.

"It's an easy way to find, share and navigate precise locations, anywhere in the World".

It's particularly useful if your address is a new build home & not registered yet, and the location squares are so small you can specify a driveway entrance or even a door.

Anybody that is receiving their delivery via DPD, can download their app to their smart device and create an account, giving them access to be able to leave specific delivery instructions.

Please note that DPD have not extended the what3words service to accept this delivery data at the time of placing orders. To make use of it, you must download the DPD app and create your own account & then visit the what3words website to find/choose your 3mtr square location.

Chocolate Trading Co is not affiliated with DPD or what3words and only offers DPD courier deliveries as part of their delivery options at checkout. Customers will still continue to receive delivery alerts & tracking information from Chocolate Trading Co and DPD as normal via their email address or mobile number, as entered at the time of placing their order.
