Artisan Chocolate

Making 'Bean to Bar' chocolate is still a rare occurrence and particularly in the UK as most chocolate manufacturers use pre-made cocoa liquor or chocolate couverture.

Established in 2014, Simon Doble and Margie Bignall began creating small batch artisan chocolate directly from imported, fairly traded cocoa beans in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds

Doble & Bignall therefore control each part of the chocolate making process from roasting to grinding and conching to produce their unique chocolate bringing out the pure flavours of the individual varieties of cocoa beans.

A true artisan chocolate maker in every sense making pure chocolate using the highest quality ingredients.

Chocolate Trading Co now stock 4 of their exciting chocolate bars including two milk chocolate bars with a high cocoa content and two dark chocolate bars.
