Doble & Bignall
Established in 2014, Simon Doble and Margie Bignall began creating small batch artisan chocolate directly from imported, fairly traded cocoa beans in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds. Making 'Bean to Bar' chocolate is still a rare occurrence and particularly in the UK as most chocolate manufacturers use pre-made cocoa liquor or chocolate couverture. Doble & Bignall therefore control each part of the chocolate making process from roasting to grinding and conching to produce their unique chocolate bringing out the pure flavours of the individual varities of cocoa beans. A true artisan chocolate maker in every sense making pure chocolate using the highest quality ingredients. One of a handful of British bean to bar chocolate makers.
