Royal Mail Industrial Action disruption to our order dispatches - December 2022.

UPDATED: 6th December 2022!

Royal Mail Strike action on Friday 9th, Sunday 11th, Wednesday 14th & Thursday 15th December 2022. There will be no Royal Mail collections or deliveries on these dates.

Due to planned Industrial Action by Royal Mail, the following delivery options, available at checkout, may experience delays in the Royal Mail network:

Next Day (Special Guaranteed): Next Day service will take priority but is not guaranteed. 1pm time promise also suspended.

Standard (Tracked 48): Typically 2-4 working days may incur extra days delay.

Super-Saver: Typically 3-5 working days may incur extra days delay.

First Class: Typically 1-3 working days may incur extra days delay.

Royal Mail have informed us that customers should expect "significant disruption" to all delivery services.

Delivery Offices and Customer Service Points will also be closed on days when strike action is taking place, so please do not try to collect or drop-off items on these dates.

Re: Your delivery enquiry.

Thank you for your delivery enquiry. We're very sorry to read that your order has not been delivered yet by Royal Mail.

We can confirm your order was dispatched promptly and correctly labelled, on the same working day (Mon-Fri) where orders were placed before 4pm. (excepting actual Royal Mail Strike days, when there were no collections at all).

Royal Mail continue to work through the back-log caused by the last 4 days of their industrial action, which took place over the busiest online shopping period of the year.

Royal Mail continue to offer their apologies to our customers for the delays in their order deliveries, caused by events wholly outside of our control.

Tracking has also been affected as Royal Mail forgo usual operational parcel scans in an attempt to speed up the delivery/sorting processes.

Customers may only see that their postage label was generated, but we can assure you 100% that your order was collected by Royal Mail, and is currently within their sorting & delivery systems.

May we add our own sincere apologies for the delays customers are experiencing. We are working tirelessly with all our couriers to minimalise disruption as much as possible, and appreciate your patience and kind understanding at what is a very frustrating time for a small independent company like ourselves, and other businesses enduring a similar situation.

It would be enormously helpful if you could refrain from leaving negative / poor star ratings on Trust Pilot for ourselves and other businesses, due to overdue deliveries etc, as they can really affect our future trading, through reasons not of our making.
