These unique delights by Michel Cluizel are both delicious and enchanting!
The mushroom's dark chocolate cap is filled with a crunchy almond nougatine and the stem is made of butter caramel surrounded in a white and dark chocolate shell. Each generous mushroom is the equivalent of two chocolates. We find everybody loves these.

I was a little disappointed in these. They are very pretty and very delicately made that's for sure, They feel hand made actually. The dark chocolate is rich with cocoa and flavourful, but I found the white a bit lacking. There was some faint vanilla to it, but nothing much else. For some reason (though don't know why) I was expecting a different texture... like some runny caramel somewhere. The butter caramel was firm, chewy butter caramel; not too dissimilar to those left over chocs in your regular mass market tubs. The caramel nougatine was the best bit and very nutty with a good roasted flavour to it. I just felt however that I wanted, or perhaps expected something else. It was chewy, teeth stickily so, and this I don't usually opt for.
Great service by CTC as ever, but I do wish I had opted to spend my money on something else instead.
