This organic dark chocolate bar from Chocolate Tree is packed full of notes of raspberry, cherry and blackberries. Created from bean to bar with fine flavour Trinitario cocoa from the highly respected Akesson's estate, Ambanja, in the Sambirano region of Madagascar.
This chocolate bar is the new version of the old Madagascar Sambirano 72% dark chocolate bar. It is using exactly the same cocoa beans and from the exact same origin as before but with a name change on the packaging to now detail the specific town, Ambanja, located within the region of Sambirano and, now with a lower cocoa content of 70%.
Chocolate Tree are one of the few true bean to bar chocolate makers in the UK. They are creating superior quality, single origin chocolate from the raw cocoa bean right through to the finished chocolate bar. A highly skilled and labour intensive process.
