Created from bean to bar, this superior quality dark chocolate bar is created from Criollo cocoa from Akesson's own organic plantation in Madagascar, the Bejofo estate (previously the bar packaging stated Ambolikapiky, a smaller part of the estate but exactly the same beans. Just a name change on the packaging). Providing subtle red berry and citrus notes. Exceptionally smooth and creamy.

My husband and I enjoyed this dark chocolate bar made with Madagascan cocoa, and thought it was very reasonably priced, given the quality of the cocoa, and the awards this bar has won.
