Concepcion, 66% cocoa, single estate, dark chocolate bar
The Caranero Superior, a variety of Trinitario cocoa beans used by Michel Cluizel to create the Concepcion, single origin chocolate bar are produced at the Hacienda Concepcion in the cocoa renowned Venezuela. Typical of the "fine flavour" Caranero Superior bean, this chocolate bar holds intensely aromatic and fruity flavours. A must for the chocolate connoissuer. Single origin chocolate at its finest.

Michel Cluizel's own description of the Concepcion bar:
Venezuela is a country renowned for producing the best cocoa in the world. In the Barlovento valleys, to the East of Caracas, I have selected a plantation, the "Hacienda Concepcion", for the excellent quality of its 1st Cru Caranero cocoa beans, fermented, dried and polished in the traditional way since 1902. This 1st Cru Hacienda chocolate progressively reveals its thoroughbred character, with its intensely aromatic, profoundly typical and fruity flavours that gradually unfold.
