This higher cocoa milk chocolate bar from Pralus holds a caramelised nut and toffee flavour profile. Best described as a rich butter fudge but made with less sugar due the higher than average cocoa content of 45%. A milk chocolate that still provides enough sweetness to fix that sugar craving but is also packed with real chocolate flavour to savour.

The pralus melissa I imagined was going to be similar to the Michel Cluizel high cocoa milks but it really is quite different. It has a much nuttier flavour and popcorn like? It is quite sweet still and I realise that even a 5% increase in cocoa content with a milk chocolate can make a big difference. I really like this pralus bar and it is one to enjoy for a bit of a sweet fix, without being too naughty.
