Pralus have exclusively used fine flavour, Criollo cocoa from Indonesia to create this contrasting flavoured chocolate. Noticeable orange peel notes and high acidity to begin with evolving into a pure, liquorice and burnt toffee finish.
The indonesie is a newer flavoured chocolate in the fact is contains, and I agree with the tasting notes, an orange peel flavour. Subtle of course and nothing like a flavoured bar but it certainly does have those notes and I found it both refreshing and really comforting towards the end with that burnt toffee finish. I bought a few of the pralus chocolate bars the other afternoon and received my choccies in the post the very next day. Hows that for delivery. The Pralus indonesie really stood out for me as it is a bit different from the norm and I like that. Its does have a citrus/orange top note and certainly develops as it continues into a caramel/toffee/praline finish. Its clean and also caramalised so it feels like two different chocolates. Really do love this bar and rate Pralus very highly indeed. Best chocolate for me to date I think.
