This dark chocolate bar is made from a rare cocoa variety from Guatemala with a high percentage of Criollo. Criollo is the finest and most sublime cocoa in the world. In Guatemala, a very unique and independent cocoa variety combining the fine flavour Criollo and Trinitario beans has emerged in the region over the past centuries.

A dear friend made me a little chocolate gift hamper, with some hand-picked fair trade bars from Chocolate Trading Company, for Christmas. My chocolate hamper included dark chocolate bars from some chocolate makers I'd never heard of before. This was my absolute favourite bar, but to be honest the others were also excellent. Such a range of flavours. I would recommend this Zotter chocolate bar to my friends.
