Using only fine flavour, Trinitario cocoa from Trinidad. Pralus have created an initial lime zest edge to this single origin chocolate, green fruit pastels even.
A refreshing sour edge balances wonderfully with a full body. Even on the aftertaste a hint of green fruits, apples and herbs scents the mouth and combines effortlessly with a treacle-like richness. Well balanced and holding a full spectrum of flavours.
Pralus, situated in Roanne, France, are one of the few chocolate houses creating chocolate direct from the cocoa bean. I think the tasting notes on this chocolate bar are perfect. You really do get a lime zest and sourness edge to this dark chocolate and I absolutely love it. Quite different and really worth trying. When you buy a group of Pralus bars, as I did, and tasted them comparatively the diverse flavors are quite unbelievable. Thumbs up.

Welcome back Pralus. How I miss the burst of flavours your lovely chocolates provide! This one is bursting with spices & tobacco. You feel like you're on a sunny, sandy paradise while eating this. Lots of flavour, lots of sunshine!
