Really good flavour, but the texture is too smooth in a way, making it almost waxy.

My favourite chocolate bar ever. Its smoothness seems to balance the bitterness, and the cocoa-butter actually leaves a joyful sweetness as it melts on the palate.Chocolate with added sugar now simply tastes sickly to me.

I love this bar so much, I could eat the whole thing at once. How Pralus can make a 100% bar taste sweet is nothing short of a miracle. I am a sucker for the high roast that Pralus favours and this bar epitomizes it's excellence as a chocolate maker. My favourite chocolate bar!!

François Pralus conches this chocolate to remove much of the extreme bitterness associated with a really dark chocolate. When I first tasted it, I had to keep checking the ingredients to see if there was a misunderstanding and it did actually contain sugar! A high percentage of cocoa butter gives the bar a lovely, creamy, melting quality that is deeply satisfying. Because of the long conching, many of the high notes and sour, fruity notes are smoothed off, to give something that is nutty, smooth and bitter without any sourness. I love it and always pop it on my Birthday and Christmas wish list as a little low carb, heart healthy cocoa treat. Worth the extra money. Yum!

The Pralus 100% bar is my guilty little chocolate treat and one I can order online whenever I need. Always arrives well packaged and if you order only 1 or 2 bars, their outer mailing box fits through your letterbox!

My Pralus 100% order arrived today and all I can say is this is the most wonderful, flavourful, smooth chocolate I have ever tasted. I have been experimenting with different 100% chocolate bars and this puts the others firmly in the shade. However, haven't tried them all yet :) I will be re-ordering!

So smooth and so full of flavour, the Pralus le 100% bar is perhaps still my favourite 100% cocoa content bar but having recently tried the new Chocolat Madagscar bar, I would say that was also worth trying for anyone looking for a chocolate bar without any added sugar.

This chocolate bar is fantastic. It's ridiculously smooth and creamy, no doubt due to a large amount of cacao butter. Its only mildly bitter and has a strawberry like fruitiness.This is definitely worth a try, it will not be regretted!

This is just amazing, the type of taste that grows on you. Previously I was hooked on Lindt 90% as my all time favourite extreme dark chocolate, but that now tastes bland in comparison. This has a unique almost malty richness and is not bitter at all - I am addicted

I've tried 5 different 100% bars from here and this one remains in the top spot.. I am in full agreement with Naomi who mentioned checking the ingredient list for sugar...! It has a hint of natural sweetness (make no mistake, it's still a strong, bitter chocolate!) but it has a fruit and earth nuttiness that's unlike the other bars.. The one other bar I would continue to buy (but only one out 5 Pralus) is the 100% Chocolat Madagascar.... Also robust, fruity with some sweetness, but much less refined in flavor and almost chalky compared with this Pralus perfection.. I'll be buying this regularly.

Good chocolate to be tried, 100% criollo and quite sophisticated, but I prefer something a little less edgy such as 100% Madagascar and 100% Bonnat. It didn't meet my expectations.
