The quality of the actual cocoa is of course still vital in the finished chocolate and like non sugar free chocolate bars the quality can vary enormously depending on the manufacturer. In short not all sugar free chocolate is created equal. It is important to note that it is not essential to only eat sugar free chocolate for diabetes. Diabetics are advised to reduce sugar, calorie and energy intake and of course that can be achieved with limited quantities of non sugar free, dark chocolate. The higher the cocoa content the less sugar is included.
